Education and Training Program

Literacy rate in DR Congo estimated at 50%, educate more women and children

DR Congo will not advance if women and girls are left behind illiterate. We are providing our beneficiaries a 3 month fast paced literacy program in local languages such as Swahili. Before they access any other program at HEAR Congo, women are offered the opportunity to learn how to read and write as well as numeracy. This is the foundation of their success.

Our inclusive Education and Training program gives an opportunity to a woman or a child to build a better future for her, her child and her community.

We understand the value each woman and girl holds in the Congolese society and treat every beneficiary with the utmost respect.

Our approach is life skill-based education. They are trained to become whole individuals and leaders in their community.
