Environment: sustainable agriculture, water and climate Program

Women in rural areas contribute 50% to the agricultural production in DR Congo. They are also responsible for 75% of production in the subsistence economy. Sadly, they have very little access to land rights, farming resources and training. The women learn about land rights, new crops and environmentally friendly methods in agriculture as well as innovative practices related to quality water and food. They are also informed ways to practice agriculture which is resilient to climate change. This program allows them to ensure food security for themselves, families and their communities in the most sustainable manner.
