International Women’s Day in Tenke

This year, the United Nations Women brought together more than 8000 people  and 400 NGOs from around the world to focus on the empowerment of rural women. The United Nations 62nd Commission on the Status of Women convened in New York City from March 12 through March 23rd, with the voices of rural females very much present at the CSW62. Founder Kaleba Ngoie and board member Simone Dominique participated in several panels and shared stories of the successes and challenges of HEAR Congo.
